Entrance into Matetsi Unit 2 is 27 kilometres from Victoria Falls toward Hwange National Park main road and the camp is 65km along Pandamatenga road towards the Botswana boarder post. The concession is 292.11 square km and it stretches along the Pandamatenga road to the boader with Botswana from Kazuma forest and along Unit 1 boundery then back to the road. whilst the Nyakasanga camp is 22km along Mongwe road form Chirundu boarder post close to the old Sugar Estate. | ||

Matetsi Unit 2 safari area is well known for its fabulous variety of wildlife species. Blessed with good grazing land, nice bushes and most importantly the Matetsi river flow graciously through the area providing drinking points for animals, making it very attractive to all species with the "BIG FIVE" being well covered. Nyakasanga safari area runs along the Zambezi river boardering with Mana pools photograhpic safari area on the northern side. Chimutsi dam provides water through out the year, whilst the Zambezi river offers other entertainment opportunities such as tiger fishing. The indication quota for Matetsi Unit 2 and Nyakasanga are attached for easy of reference for planning and booking purposes. Special requirements on combination of species can gladly be accomodated by arrangement. |
